I’m currently a UX/UI Designer at Vivint Solar where I work on internal products like NEO. In a given day, I might sketch, wireframe, prototype, facilitate a workshop, or needfind with users.
Before that, I was the designer, information architect, and copywriter at the University of Utah's College of Pharmacy, a top ten ranked graduate and research institution.
Read some case studies below and reach out to me @ChasingMack if you find anything interesting.
Vivint Solar NEO 2.0
User experience, user interface, prototyping, user research
NEO is an internal tool, native IOS app, used by salespeople to track leads, monitor accounts, upload contracts, sign documents, etc. I helped design NEO for the first time on iPhone.
University of Utah web redesign
User experience, information architecture, copy
Five years after the arc of responsive web design, the College of Pharmacy's web presence needed more than just a face lift. Starting over required educating the whole department about design, listening to users, re-examining old ways of thinking and addressing the needs of many stakeholders. I helped write copy, design web interfaces and information architecture.
Family history product research
User research, product validation, and prototyping
Designing for an engaging, usable web requires more than just a concept in your head and venture capitol. Me and a group of user experience researchers at the University of Utah followed Cooper's product design process to provide a client with five customer facing pages/features of research and design. My team worked on search and collaboration.
